Harrier Survey and Environment was founded in early 2026 and is built on a decade of experience from academia and industry.
The one-man band:
Gregor Allison
Born and raised in the Scottish Highlands and with generational ties to crofting and agriculture, I've always felt at home in the great outdoors and have orientated my career around the environments that I love.
After wrapping up the last day of my studies with the University of the Highlands and Islands on a Friday, I was fortunate enough to join a close-knit consultancy on the following Monday: from frying pan to fire!
This is where my formative and academic knowledge was fostered, developing into practical abilities deployed across the full spectrum of both rural and environmental consultancy.
From there, I branched out into environmental engineering and contracting; enhancing what I had learned from consultancy and deploying it in the fast-paced and competitive world of the contractor.
Harrier Survey and Environment is built on these experiences; intimate industry knowledge from having worked the perspective of an agent, designer and contractor - a unique level of insight!
My passion for the outdoors extends beyond work and into play - mountain biking, hiking and photography being the favored pass-times.
